Round 1 - Green Light

ROUND 1 STANDARD RACE

So everyone can get into the swing of things the first round will be nice and simple. Get from A - B before the other guy. Each match up will have a brief description of the dimension and surroundings for the race. It won't be a huge description, just something to fire off your imagination.

Phew...that took me a while to think up all these dimensions. I was lucky and had two days off in a row which is why you get these so soon (I can't keep this speed up ALL the time). Anyway the deadline will be Midnight GMT January 5th. I wanted to give you guys plenty of time what with Christmas coming up. After this rounds will be 3 weeks.

Race 1

Location Dimension 00316 - Pluto

In Dimension 00316 Earth did not go through the dark ages and as such technology progressed at a much more rapid pace. Due to this pollution has escalated to tremendous levels and natural resources are all but spent. Humans have now looked to the solar system for natural resources. Pluto is where Earth now transports its water.

The race will take place on the surface of Pluto. The presence of humans has changed the landscape somewhat. There are ice spires, deep canyons and refinery equipment all over the planet. Ice poaching is rife on Pluto where many try to take ice from the surface to sell at a high price and wouldn’t look kindly at interlopers speeding by…

Race 2

Location The Garage – Residential district

The Dimensional station “The Garage” has had many sections added over the years to the point where it is now like a giant floating city in the very crossroads of dimensions. The residential district is full of permanent settlers: Doonlup and other species alike. The perfect place for a street race!

Location Dimension 01760 – Ditergia

Ditergia is a strange universe. The land is comprised of soap like bubbles and extremely unstable. While this can support a great amount of weight it can’t do it for long. Racers will have to make sure they keep moving or find out what’s underneath all those bubbles…

Location Dimension 00001 – Earth – The Grand Canyon

It’s OUR dimension! The dimension where The IDD exists only as the crazy dreamings of a scrawny spectacled chap in Scotland. The Grand Canyon is a major tourist spot…so…you’ll have to deal with that too.

Race 5

Location Dimension 09351 – Noisnemid

For this race you’ve been placed on a planet that SEEMS normal enough. Yes its populated by little green men and the sky is purple but other than that it seems ok. The race itself takes place on a pre-prepared IDD race track. Oh…and in this dimension time runs backwards, I thought I should mention that.
* note * I’ll give you free reign how you interpret the “time running backwards” thing.

Location Dimension 666 – Earth - New York

It finally happened…it’s the Zombie apocalypse. We all knew it would happen and in this dimension it did! The entire planet has been overrun by ZOMBIES!!! So why not race through the Zombie infested streets of New York City?

Location Dimension 96371a – Dave

Dimension 96371a is home to Dave: A gigantic living planet. The creatures that inhabit his surface are organisms that clean and carry out his own biological defences. Dave himself is pretty docile…his defences on the other hand…

Location Dimension l337 – Earth

In this Dimension Video game conventions have taken form in real life. I don’t mean video game characters are real I mean that people have “lives”, all barrels explode, people can heal the most grievous wounds with nothing more than a strip of bandage and there are power-ups lying EVERYWHERE. The race itself will take place on a pre-prepared IDD race track.

Location Dimension 24118 – The End Phalanx 13

Phalanx 13 is on the verge of exploding. Volcanoes are erupting. Tidal waves,  Hurricanes the works. Phalanx 13 is full of bizarre wildlife that will most certainly be freaking the hell out at this point.

Location Dimension XXL – Earth – McDonalds

Dimension XXL is identical to Dimension 00001 with one difference. Its huge massive. The racers here are about the size of ants. So they’re racing around a McDonalds…all sorts of dangers there.

The cutest most cuddly dimension ever. So much so it might make you sick. Every thing is soft, fuzzy and probably pink with rainbows. Should make for some interesting roadkill.

Location The Garage – Gravity Dome

One of the specialised racetracks within “The Garage” is the Gravity Dome. Gravity on this track is…screwy to say the least. I some sections there is little to no gravity while others is like getting crushed under a bus. In other areas the centre of gravity isn’t even where you’d expect! At times you even end up on the ROOF!

Location Dimension 11010 – Binary

Binary is an odd world. There is no such thing as organic life. Everything is a machine. Machine carnivores scrap machine herbivores to use their parts for themselves. Machine plants use solar power to vent gasses the other machines use for fuel. Even the very surface of the planet is one big machine. Metal surface might make for difficult traction but it should be fun.

Location Dimension 53755 – Avargrein

Avargrien is a forest world with trees as tall as skyscrapers and a wealth of wild life hidden within. God only knows how big those critters get in there.

Race 15

Location The Garage – Skyway

The Skyway is another of The Garages racetracks. Suspended above the main levels using a combination of anti-grav generators and suspension cables. Speeding passed bill boards on a Narrow track its tricky not to fall off…which you REALLY don’t want to do. Markon will be upset if he has to clean you up…

Location  Dimension 2245 – Hysteria

Hysteria is a land of magic, dragons and uh…drunken wizards. Race around an old Medieval town and passed a certain bar called “The Pigs Ear”.
